Lyon announces: 'Gonalons to Roma for 5 million'. The official note will occur on July 10th

The deal will only be announced on July 10th but Lyon have now already announced Maxime Gonalons' transfer to Rome. The player who was also being scouted by Napoli in the past had a contract that was set to expire in 2018. He will now be joining Roma for a 5 million euros price.

Here is the note: " Lyon announces to have found an agreement with Roma for the transfer of Maxime Gonalons. The player will move to Rome as Lyon will receive 5 million euros in return. The deal will be confirmed on July 10th. Gonalons wanted to start a new experience as he was already close to Napoli in the past. Lyon did everything in it's power to help Gonalons move to Roma, with whom we have a great understanding with".

Roma finished second last season as they will be hoping to have another solid season in 2017-2018. They have already sold Momo Salah as they will be hoping that new coach Di Francesco replaces Luciano Spalletti well.
