Lyon look to former Red Devil to replace Arsenal & Liverpool target

According to RMC Sport, Lyon are lining up Mexican frontman Javier Hernandez to replace Alexandre Lacazette next season. The French international striker has been linked with several big European clubs and reports over the weekend suggested that Liverpool were hot on the heels of the 26-year-old who is set to leave France this summer.

Latest reports state that Hernandez’s current club, Bayer Leverkusen, have agreed for him to leave the club with a year left on his current contract with the player himself believed to be keen on a move to the Ligue 1 side.

Lacazette on the other hand, looks set to become the subject of a huge transfer tussle this summer with Arsenal and Atletico Madrid joining the Merseyside club in the race for his signature. Lyon are believed to be holding out for a fee in the region of £50M and they will stand to make a huge profit by picking up Chicharito for a fee of around £7M.
