Man United, Juventus target reportedly agrees to Barcelona move

Marco Verratti has reportedly agreed to join Barcelona, according to Sport.

Opening today with the Italian’s face on the front page, the Catalan paper claims that the Manchester United, Juventus and Bayern Munich target “said yes” to Barcelona.

Verratti was recently spotted in Ibiza with his agent and team-mate Javier Pastore… in a club where Lionel Messi was also present. The two are reported to have dined together.

Agent Donato Di Campli has already told PSG - specifically sporting director Antero Henrique - that his client wanted to leave the Parc des Princes.

Di Campli is also reported to have told Henrique that Verratti only had one objective in mind: the Camp Nou.

Barcelona are looking to reinforce this summer, and replace veteran Andres Iniesta.

Verratti, for his part, has leaked numerous reports of his unhappiness (and just as many denials) in the last few months, though he does sound genuinely peeved at PSG’s presumed lack of European credibility, not to mention the fact that the Parisians don’t seem to have beefed up the squad to his liking.
