Man United keen on Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos in De Gea swap deal
According to Spanish publication Don Balon, the La Liga giants are desperate to sign De Gea, but they are encountering difficulty, with Mourinho not making it easy for them to snap up their target.
And this in turn had resulted in their president, Florentino Perez, becoming very frustrated with Portuguese manager, Mourinho.
Perez wants De Gea at his club, and so far he has offered Mourinho the likes of Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez, Álvaro Morata and Raphael Varane, to lure the Spanish international ‘keeper away.
But Mourinho is remaining insistent that the only player he would consider as part of a swap deal is German international Kroos.
He is playing hardball and this has left Perez fuming with his former associate.
Other clubs are interested in Kroos, too. Serie A clubs Juventus and Inter Milan have all enquired about the former Bundesliga player.
