Man United offer €24m to persuade star striker to stay

Manchester United have a blockbuster offer ready for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The 35-year-old star is set to be offered a massive €24 million in order to convince him to stay at, if the Mirror can be trusted.

The Swede has scored 28 goals in all competitions in 50 games for the Red Devils this season, but has recently dropped hints that he may not last that long at Old Trafford.

His benching in yesterday’s 2-0 win over Chelsea looked to have fuelled those rumours.

Then again, the former Inter, PSG and Barcelona man has also said that he wants to stay. He originally signed a one-year deal last summer, with an option for an extra year to be tagged on.

The Mirror also claimed that Ibrahimovic wouldn’t stay if the Red Devils were to fail to qualify for the Champions League.

Ibra’s permanence has, according to reports, been threatened by the eventual signing of Antoine Griezmann.
