Man United rival City for €65m Arsenal star
According to the Sun, the 29-year-old is not long for Arsenal, with his deal with the Emirates side expiring next summer.
Sanchez was close to joining the Etihad side this summer, Arsenal having accepted a €65 million offer, only for the move to never happen when the Gunners couldn’t secure a replacement, likely Thomas Lemar of Monaco.
After the turn of the year, the Mancunians can begin to negotiate terms with Sanchez.
City are trying to make a lesser offer, according to the Sun, seeing as Arsenal have a choice between that and making nothing in summer.
Alexis Sanchez scored an impressive 24 goals in Premier League action last season, adding ten assists. Trouble is, he was dropped for a key game with Bayern Munich, and was caught laughing on the sidelines as Arsenal got hammered 10-2 on aggregate.
