Man Utd boost as Inter boss admits they're ready to listen to offers for Perisic

Inter boss Luciano Spalletti looks to be ready to concede defeat in his attempts to hold on to Croatian midfielder Ivan Perisic. The 28-year-old, who has been linked with a move to Manchester United all summer and who is already understood to have agreed personal terms on a move to Old Trafford, remains Jose Mourinho’s main target before next month’s big kick-off.

Having already rejected several bids from United for Perisic, Spalletti is more than aware that he has an unhappy player on his hands and that it would be better for all concerned if the Nerazzurri granted him his wish to head to England. Inter chiefs however, are understood to want Frenchman Anthony Martial on an initial loan as part of any deal to take the Croat to Manchester.

During his latest press-conference from the clubs pre-season tour of Asia, Spalletti is quoted in the Daily Star as stating that; “He's an important player in the team and we're counting on him to start the new season. Having said that if someone comes in with a very difficult offer to reject, then we'll consider it.”
