The knee injury sustained by Paul Pogba will keep him out "for a long absence." The news was given directly by Jose Mourinho, coach of Manchester United. The French midfielder had undergone the injury on September 12, during the first round match of the Champions League in which the Red Devils won 3-0 against Basel.

"He can not play tomorrow, and it is not an incident for which I can hope for a quick recovery, like Valencia or Jones." Mourinho spoke regarding the availability of his squad on the eve of the Crystal Palace match. "I do not talk about long-term injuries. I do not think Ibra, Pogba and Rojo." In this sense, Pogba’s layoff could stretch for some time.
