Premier League: Manchester United 4-0 Crystal Palace- Dominant United punish Crystal Palace at Old Trafford

Manchester United have gone top of the table after beating Crystal Palace 4-0 in a comfortable Saturday afternoon for the Reds. United have continued their great league form while Palace have lost all seven games without scoring a goal. It took only three minutes for the opening goal of the game provided by Marcus Rashford and finished by Juan Mata. A confident and controlling United then added their second goal of the game scored by Marouane Fellaini. The Belgian was at the back post to hit it home on the volley after Ashley Young provided in a great cross. The first half ended with the Red Devils leading 2-0.

Early in the second half United were awarded a free kick and Rashford stepped up to take it as his shot was steered in for United’s third by Fellaini, his second of the game. Throughout the game Crystal Palace were struggling to get a goal let alone get any points and their misery continued after substitute Anthony Martial squared the ball to Lukaku as he scored in an empty net (his seventh league goal for the season).
