Manchester United looking for attacking reinforcements in Serie A

Manchester United are still looking for a missing piece in their attacking department and José Mourinho may be looking to solve his attacking ‘woes’ signing a player from Serie A.

No secret the Special One wanted a new winger in the summer and it is also no secret that Inter star Perisic was Mourinho’s ‘chosen one’.

The Croat’s move to the Old Trafford, however, collapsed as Inter did not accept any offer for the talented Croatian winger.

There are, however, two more Serie A stars to be linked with a move to the Old Trafford.
One of them is Paulo Dybala, probably the most shining star in Serie A at the moment. Dybala has no release clause included in his contract and Beppe Marotta has made it clear that Juventus want the Argentinean to remain in Turin ‘for life’.

According to Tuttosport, however, Mino Raiola made an attempt to become Dybala’s new agent in order to offer him to Manchester United. Dybala has recently changed his agent swapping Pierpaolo Triulzi with his brother Mariano who is on very good terms with Juventus’ executives.

The other player linked with a summer move to Manchester United is Dries Mertens. The 30-year-old has a € 28 million release clause included in his contract and according to Napoli’s former Director of Football Pierpaolo Marino the Red Devils are keen to signing the player in the summer as his release clause can only be activated once the current campaign ends.
