Nervous Roberto Mancini admits giving the finger to jeering fans

Roberto Mancini was sent off after four minutes in the second half of the Milan derby  while complaining for a penalty kick not awarded to his side.

Moments before entering the San Siro changing room, Mancini was pictured by MilanNews.it while giving the finger to some Milan jeering fans.

“That’s true, I’ve done that”, Mancini admits after the game talking to Mediaset Premium.

“Those fans were not supposed to be there and they were insulting me. So I reacted. I take my responsibilities, if I do something wrong I admit it.”

Talking about the game, Mancini has the feeling that the result was unfair and has more than a complaint towards the referee.

“D’Amato and his assistants were really terrible today. I’d love to know if rules are the same for everyone. One Milan player should have been sent off in the first half.”

“We’ve played a good game. We had some clear-cut chanced but we couldn’t make the most of them. “

“After the penalty kick we’ve stopped playing.”

“I picked Santon because I needed a fresh option to play down that flank.”

“Everything has gone wrong this month. We need to work everywhere on the pitch to improve our results and performances.”

“Pressure on Icardi are just bu******s.”

“I take the full responsibility for the defeat.”
