    Mancini: ‘Icardi must improve’

Inter manager Roberto Mancini spoke to the Italian TV channel Sky Sport following his side’s 0-0 against Serie A title holders Juventus. The former Manchester City manager seemed not to have enjoyed tonight's scoreless draw.

“We played with the same system that we used at Genova against Sampdoria. I had 5-6 players that made their International comeback yesterday and we played better in the first half rather than in the second,” Mancini told the journalists.

“I am happy because we showed personality. Playing Juventus is nothing easy and I am sure they’ll be back in the title race very soon.”

Former Manchester City  Stevan Jovetic featured as the best Nerazzurri player tonight:

“I think it was his best game this term, considering also that he was recovering from an injury.”

On the other hand, Mauro Icardi did not live up to expectations in the San Siro face-off:

“Icardi must do better and he knows it. This is not a good moment for him but I am sure that he’ll score at least 18 goal in this season too. In the long run, I think he’ll benefit from playing with the system that we adopted tonight.”
