After a testing start to his time in Turin, Juventus midfielder Mario Lemina can look ahead with renewed optimism.

Lemina joined the club last summer, initially on a loan deal, but his new side endured a nightmare opening to the season and at one point found themselves 11 points off top-spot. To make matters worse, Lemina was forced to miss a large chunk of the campaign through injury.

Despite that tricky start, things did get better for Lemina and Juve: the injury problems are now behind him, Juve successfully defended their crown and what's more his move has been made permanent.

Speaking to Sky Sports Italia about his experience so far in Serie A, Lemina said the following: "Yes, there was a slight fear Juve might not make my move permanent. But the season went well, even if I had some problems with my knee. I have to say that the medical staff cured the problem and I was able to play. I am happy Juve helped me. I am enthusiastic about staying here for the next 4 years. I will play wherever I am put, even in place of Marchisio if needed. However I also like to attack and play further up the pitch, maybe with Pogba and Khedira.”
