Mario Rui to have knee surgery, AS Roma think of Dodo
The former Empoli star underwent medical tests shortly after leaving the pitch. Tests have highlighted a curciate ligament injury which will force the 25-year-old out of action for several months.
According to Sky Italia the giallorossi have made contact with Inter for Dodo. The Brazilian left-back is the first option to replace Mario Rui during the first months of the season.
The former Sampdoria man is available on a loan deal, though Inter would prefer to add a compulsory buy-out clause and not a simple option to buy.
Sampdoria are also interested in bringing their former defender at the Marassi for one more season.
