Juventus CEO Beppe Marotta has been speaking at the Bocconi event today. The first topic of conversation was about Serie A and the Champions League to which he explained that; “I represent the club that won the championship but we should also give a round of applause to my friend Adriano Galliani, who's also a winner. The unpredictability of the Champions League unlike Serie A, is crucial. No team has managed to win that competition two years running. Look at us, we were 12th at one point in Serie A but we still won. Mourinho was right when he said that the Champions League is the cup of truth and to arrive at the final you must stay physically and mentally strong. From the beginning of the season we must factor in all these things.  

Our championship has just become a stepping-stone for players before they go to play elsewhere. The best always go to play with other clubs. Ours is a league where it is always difficult to play, even against teams such as Sassuolo and Carpi you must always give the maximum.
