Marseille closing in on a deal for Milan striker as personal terms are agreed

Colombian striker Carlos Bacca is coming towards the end of his time at AC Milan. The 30-year-old, who was omitted from Vicenzo Montella’s squad in the 4-0 win over Bayern Munich on Saturday for “future transfer” reasons, could well be on his way to the south of France.

Calciomercato.com’s Daniele Longo writes that the French giants, coached by former Roma tactician Rudi Garcia are in pole-position to land the player and are already understood to have reached an agreement on personal terms for a salary of €3.5M-a-season but the two clubs are still to agree on a transfer fee.

Milan are asking for €25M for the Colombian but Marseille are looking to try to lower this valuation. Longo reports that a meeting has been scheduled for Monday and that the two parties will look to try to close out a deal for the player who arrived in Serie A from Sevilla in the summer of 2015.
