Marseille make improved bid for AC Milan star striker

Marseille are reported to have made an improved bid to AC Milan for their departing striker Carlos Bacca. Last week Montella confirmed the Colombian is on his way out of the San Siro and the Ligue 1 giants have already had several meetings with AC Milan to discuss the transfer of the former Sevilla star.

According to France Football, Marseille have made an improved € 15 million bid to sign Bacca.

AC Milan, however, expect to sell the 31-year-old for € 25 million at least and the latest offer of Marseille is likely to be rejected by the rossoneri.

The player has already given his green light to move to South France but there is still no agreement between the two clubs. Bacca spent two years at the San Siro, where he moved in summer 2015 for € 30 million. AC Milan have already signed the likes of Hakan Calhanoglu and Andre Silva and the rossoneri are expected to sign a new striker as well.
