Mascherano: ‘Difficult to leave Barcelona’
Barcelona have offered the versatile Argentinean midfielder a new two-year-deal with option to extend the agreement for another season.
“Barcelona have informed me that they want to keep me at the club and that they are happy to have me”, Mascherano, 32, has told Olé.
“When a club, especially this club, tell us something like this, it is difficult to go away. I want to force nothing, no one deserves that.”
“I have a chance of leaving and a chance of staying, but I’ll do nothing that could ruin my relationship with Barça. I don’t want to leave with a bitter taste in my mouth.”
