Messi refuses to rule out future China move

Barcelona star Lionel Messi has refused to rule out a possible move to the Chinese Super League in the future. The Argentinean star has released an interview with Espn talking about his future.

Asked about where he’d like to end his career, Messi replied: “Staying at Barca is what I’ve always wanted, what I always dreamt of and what I always said I’d do but I wouldn’t say [moving to China] is impossible, no? No one can say that anything is impossible in football. Anything can happen but today I’ll tell you no, it hasn’t crossed my mind.”

Messi, 29, has one year left in his contract with Barcelona but reports in Spain claim the Argentinean is close to signing a new deal with the blaugrana.  The Argentinean star won the Ballon d’Or five times during his career, more than any other player in the history of the game even if Cristiano Ronaldo is probably going to squal Messi’s record in December.
