Mihajlovic provides Belotti medical update

Torino boss Sinisa Mihajlovic is highly disappointed for his side’s 2-2 draw against Verona. The granata were in control of the game but allowed two goals in the last five minutes allowing the Serie A strugglers to take one point home.

“We should win these games, we had chances to score the third goal but we failed to close the game, we have to blame ourselves for today’s result. Serie A is hard and when w have chances to close the games we must do it. We could have won easily but we ended up with a draw, it’s disappointing.”

More bad news for Torino as their star striker Andrea Belotti picked up a knee injury and was stretched off the pitch in the 85th minute.

“It’s still too early to know how long Belotti will remain out of action”, Mihajlovic said.
“He has a knee injury but we still don’t know how serious it is, he will undergo medical examination tomorrow.”
