Milan claim €22m Spurs target is 'untouchable'

Milan won’t sell star winger Suso to Tottenham, or to anyone.

We published an exclusive a few minutes ago about the Rossoneri’s interest in the Spanish winger, who has gone from Liverpool flop to being one of Serie A’s best attacking midfielders.

We also revealed that the Rossoneri turned the bid down for the 23-year-old, who scored seven league goals and added nine assists last season.

Their director of sport, Massimiliano Mirabelli, has confirmed that the deal was a no-go, however.

“Suso and Locatelli are untouchable,” Mirabelli told la Gazzetta dello Sport, “especially Suso, with whom we are about to sign a new deal.

“If we didn’t it’s because we have had other priorities.”

We revealed, however, that the Rossoneri would consider an offer in the region of 25 million. Could it simply be a question of margins, not principle?

Suso starred last season for the Rossoneri, but have made a raft of acquisitions, including Hakan Calhanoglu, Andre Silva, Andrea Conti, Leonardo Bonucci and Franck Kessie’.
