Milan: is there a problem behind the market coup?

Everybody is sure that Adriano Galliani and Massimiliano Allegri know the name of the inside winger to acquire. What if this wait would hide a difficulty? Milan could still be looking for their suitable player.

If we look at the names that have been circulating in the last month, all present difficulties: Fabregas costs too much and wants to go to Barcelona; Ganso is non-EU and physically fragile, perhaps too much; Kakà's return could be problematic if we think of Shevchenko and Gullit (two unhappy returns); Witsel is not entirely convincing; Schweinsteiger would like to play in the Champions League final with Bayern at home, at Allianz Arena; Bale has a high price and would have to adapt to the role; Asamoah is not for sale (Udinese will sell Inler and Sanchez, but not him).

In the end there is Marek Hamsik. There is no doubt that he his the first choice, but Milan are now realising that Aurelio De Laurentiis is not easy to deal with. Napoli's president wants a competitive team for the Champions League, and doesn't want to sell the best players, unless there is a significant offer.

For sure, the player's intention will be crucial and if Hamsik wants to go to Milan at all costs, he will go to Milan. Thus, apart from Galliani's and Allegri's comments, there is nothing concrete for Milan as yet.
