Milan, Inter, Juve among most popular teams in China

China is the single largest market in the world. With 1.4 billion people, large international clubs are vying to gain traction in the global superpower. Even a small following could yield billions of euros in marketing value. Added eyes increase the value of television deals, sponsorships, merchandise sales, and many other aspects that generate revenue for clubs.
Barcelona and Real Madrid remained at the top of the rankings with 17.5% and 16% of respondents, respectively. Behind Milan, who garnered 13.2%, sit Manchester United and Bayern Munich. Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal round out the top-10. Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City, Atletico Madrid, Tottenham, and Paris Saint-Germain close out the top-15.
