Milan running out of time to make new signings as preliminary agreement postponed again

The signing of a preliminary agreement between AC Milan and the Chinese consortium over the sale of a majority share in club has been postponed again, which is a very negative news for all the rossoneri fans out there as the Serie A giants are now running out of time to get new recruits in the summer transfer window.

A preliminary agreement was supposed to be signed this week, but sources told calciomercato.com that the two parties have decided to postpone the signature to the first week of August due to ‘bureaucratic reasons’.

The rossoneri have already agreed the transfer fees of both Mateo Musacchio and Pitr Zielinski, but they can’t complete any of these transfers as they have no money available at this stage. The signing of a preliminary agreement would allow Galliani to have € 15 million available that, however,  would not be enough even to complete the signing of Zielinski (€ 18 million). The rossoneri can only finalize those deals if Bacca agrees to join West Ham.

However, with Barcelona that have entered the race to sign the Colombian striker, but have yet to make any official offer, the Colombian striker is likely to take even more time before giving the Hammers a definitive answer.

If Bacca moves to West Ham, Galliani can finalize at least one signing between Musacchio and Zielinski, but AC Milan are seriously running out of time because if the signing of the preliminary agreement arrives after the first week of August, they could have money available to spend when there will be no players available to buy anymore.
