Milan: the latest on the Donnarumma front

Milan have been very active this summer as they locked up 5 signings so far (Mateo Musacchio, Ricardo Rodriguez, Franck Kessie, André Silva, Fabio Borini) and are now on the verge of signing Hakan Calhanoglu and Andrea Conti too. To add to all of these signings, Milan have also been working on extending Gigio Donnarumma's contract with the club. Let's not forget that his agent Mino Raiola had announced that the young keeper was not going to renew his deal with the club but he did later state that talks with Milan would continue. Donnarumma's family have been pushing for him to stay at AC Milan as it seems like he made up his mind.

According to Sky Sport, Donnarumma has decided: he wants to stay at Milan. Donnarumma seemingly told his agent that he wanted to stay at Milan during the meeting they had last Friday. It will now be up to Raiola to meet with Milan and try to close a deal. Sources close to Calciomercato.com told us that Milan's offer will likely stay the same: a 5 year contract worth 50 million euros (gross). It is very possible that both parties agree on adding a release clause in his new potential contract. The meeting between both parties should occur soon (in the coming hours or at worst in the coming days)...
