Rumors have suggested that the club wanted to extend the player’s current deal, as Barcelona have reportedly expressed an interest in the 23-year-old full-back.
Calciomercato.com have found out that the La Liga giants are happy with their squad, and are not interested in signing De Sciglio, whose contract with Milan ends in 2018 and not in 2017, as was previously believed.
With a year and a half still left on his deal, De Sciglio’s contract extension is not a priority either for the player or for the club.
