Milan want €70m Real Madrid man, and it's not Morata

Milan are on a roll, and are interested in signing James Rodriguez.

The Rossoneri have, according to La Repubblica, been talking to the Colombian’s agent, Jorge Mendes. The former Monaco player has been relegated to a secondary role at Real Madrid, despite joining the Merengues for 80 million.

Milan have been told that they will need 70m to sign the 25-year-old.

Manchester United and PSG are also in the race for the Colombian, whose step-father has repeatedly lobbied for a move away, saying that “a talent like his needs to be expressed on the field, not the bench”.

Reports in France (via Mundo Deportivo) claim over the last few hours that PSG have already begun talks with James’ entourage, however.

Rodriguez has been close to a move away for a while now, having even visited Juventus in May 2016, though the trip led to nothing.

He is coming off a season in which he still managed eleven goals, adding eight assists in all competitions.
