Miranda emerges as possible replacement for Mauro Icardi as Inter’s captain
Some nerazzurri fans of the curva sud could not hide their frustration after reading some threatening lines of them in Icardi’s autobiography and released a harsh statement yesterday demanding the club to remove Icardi as the team’s captain.
Icardi has had a meeting with Inter’s board and manager Frank De Boer today and the club is expected to release an official statement soon on their final choice on the Argentinean striker.
Pressures of fans had a bad impact on Icardi’s performance against Cagliari yesterday as the Argentinean striker fluffed a penalty in the first half with Inter that lost their fifth game this season.
