Miranda picking up where Walter Samuel left off at Inter
The 31 year old topped Roberto Mancini’s wanted list last summer and the Nerazzurri president Erik Thohir did not fail to meet his manager’s needs.
The former Atletico Madrid star has justified his price tag in the seven Serie A games played so far, a part from the dramatic clash against Fiorentina in which Miranda received a straight red card in the first half.
The Nerazzurri have conceded only seven goals in the first ten Serie A matches, while Handanovic has kept six clean sheets.
