Only last week he stated publicly that he would not return to Inter but now the scenario is very different. His love for the nerazzurri is too great and former President Massimo Moratti is ready to buy back a stake in the club. It will not be an immediate return however and it’s unlikely that anything will be put in place until next spring.

The former patron along with Marco Tronchetti Provera, is looking to take the 31% of shares currently owned by Erick Thohir. Telelombardia confirms what Calciomercato.com stated that Moratti wants to return as a minority stakeholder with freedom to make decisions, particularly in the transfer market.
