Moratti: ‘Chinese have less passion than Italians’

Former Inter president Massimo Moratti has released an interview with Unione Sarda ahead of Inter’s meeting with newly promoted Serie A side Cagliari.
“Giulini [Cagliari’s president] is a friend of mine, but he doesn’t need my advices, he knows what to do. We talk many times and I am happy for that because we are friends and I am a friend of Cagliari.”

“Zeman was picked by Giulini some years ago. I also wanted to get him when I was Inter’s president. HE was not lucky at Cagliari.”

“Chinese do not have as much passion as us, because we live and breathe football since we are child. However, they respect Inter and Milan and have important objectives and there is enough room for everyone in today’s football.”

“Inter fans want to return to victory and we have to stay close to De Boer because he has to settle in a new environment. As an interista I love Cagliari and their style. The next week-end clash is not going to be an easy one, they’ve always been tough opponents."
