Moratti: ‘Suning have offered me Inter presidency’

Could Massimo Moratti return at Inter as the club’s president? A few months ago, nobody would have predicted that, but today it is the former Inter president himself to reveal that new owners Suning have offered him the club’s presidency again.

“Being president would be an honour. They [Suning] have made a proposal, but I don’t know what I would reply. People are nostalgic. Thohir has tried to make signings despite some economical issues and has found himself managing a ‘toy’ which is bigger than him", Moratti told Premium Sport

“I am relaxed with the new Chinese property; they want big things to happen.”

“Frank De Boer is a very good manager, Suning couldn’t sack him after one negative game only.”

“Diego Simeone’s comeback would be great. He’s an amazing manager and a true Inter fan, De Boer, however, is doing a good job. There will be time to talk about Simeone.”
