Napoli: eyes on Douglas Costa. AS Rome: keen on Rossi. Fiorentina: it's Toni's time

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Napoli’s main targets for the next transfer window are Shakhtar Donetsk 21 year old wingback Douglas Costa de Souza and Fluminense 18 year old defender Wallace Oliveira dos Santos “Wallace”. Interviewed by Radio Crc, Cesar Bottega, agent of the Ukrainian club’s player, has confirmed that Napoli are observing his client: at the moment Shakhtar has no intention to let the former Gremio leave, who is perhaps happy in Ukraine, but Naples represents an agreable destination for the player and if he will receive a concrete offer from the Italian club he will certainly evaluate it.

Many clubs are interested in Villarreal forward Giuseppe Rossi, who is still recovering from a knee injury suffered 11 months ago, but AS Rome in particular seem ready to start a negotiation for the 25 year old. As sublined by Il Tempo, in one month the player will undergo surgery again, and the Capital’s club are waiting to evaluate Rossi’s conditions before making a decisive attempt. The giallorossi are ready to sign the Italian American on loan with right to buy, but they consider too high the amount fixed by the Spainish club for the signing on permanent deal: 10 million euros.

30 year old left back Manuel Pasqual is one of the few players remained at Fiorentina after the huge changes apported to the team by the new executives. The Venetian player, who has become the captain of the viola and regularly starts in new coach Vincenzo Montella’s squad, has declared yesterday that his will is to end his career at the Tuscan club. Pasqual has been rejoined by his former teammate Luca Toni, signed in the last minutes of the Summer transfer window. There is a lot of curiosity in Florence around the 30 year old striker, who, as reported by the Corriere Fiorentino, could start tomorrow in the friendly game against his former team Al-Nasr.
