Arrived last summer from Empoli, Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri is slowly becoming a hero for the azzurri’s fans: at the beginning, the signing of somebody who had previously trained only in minor clubs created a bit of skepticism in Naples, but finally the 56-year-old has been able to show his capacity to obtain the best from all his players. For this reason, president Aurelio De Laurentiis –as reported by Sky Sport- is ready to renew the coach’s deal: Sarri has in fact signed for one season only, but Napoli have the option to extend his contract for one or more years (up to five). Moreover, also the coach’s salary could be augmented, as he is currently earning 700thousands euros, a fifth of what his predecessors Walter Mazzarri and Rafa Benitez were getting.
