Napoli sweat over Maksimovic deal as defender’s stuck in Frankfurt airport
The Serbian centre-back was supposed to have already arrived at Roma's Villa Stuart for medical, but the player has yet to land in Italy.
The 23-year-old is stuck in Frankfurt’s airport that has been evacuated due to a bomb threat. Maksimovic is waiting to get the first flight for Italy, but that could have been too late to undergo Napoli medical and sign contract with his new club.
According to Sky Italia, Maksimovic could get a private flight to arrive in Castelvolturno as soon as possible and finalize his € 30 million move to Napoli before the end of the deadline day at 11 pm.
