    Napoli to make offer for Saponara if Insigne goes to Inter

    Lorenzo Insigne’s agent has put his client’s future at Napoli in serious doubt asking the club to offer him a contract extension if they don’t want to see him joining another top European club, given that the Italy International has attracted the interest of many European clubs.

    Being Maurizio Sarri a long-time admirer of Empoli star Riccardo Saponara, the product of AC Milan academy could be the right name to replace Insigne.

    Saponara is available in the market for a transfer fee in the region of € 20 million and Maurizio Sarri had already tried to bring him to the San Paolo last summer.

    The possible departure of Insigne and the subsequent arrival of Saponara, however, would force Maurizio Sarri to swap to a 4-3-1-2 system.
