New Inter boss shares his thoughts on Donnarumma and Rudiger situations

New Inter coach Spalletti had some interesting words when he spoke to Premium Sport recently. Here are a few of the highlights from the interview:

ON INTER -  "Where will Inter come in the rankings? We will need to work well. The position will depend on how we can work, how we will be able to create the basics to make ten more wins compared to last year.”

ON DONNARUMMA -  “Donnarumma's situation is hard to judge what is the behavior of all parties. There are rules and everyone is behaving within these, then they will find the right solution for everyone. The boy is strong despite his age. He is a mature person who knows how to make his judgments, in my opinion he needs more time and what is coming out lately shows that there may be some rethinking. In the case would Inter be ready for Donnarumma? For one, we already have one like him. There have been champions and there will be. He is predestined, but here are many strong goalkeepers, one of them is Handanovic.”

ON RUDIGER - “Is Rudiger a goal for defense? I can say that in defense we will definitely do something, Rudiger is a great footballer as is Manolas, who I trained, and has shown to have a value. Without them in Rome we would not have all these points. But I can not say the name of who we are going to take: it would be premature and incorrect.”
