‘Next Donnarumma’ close to extending contract with AC Milan

AC Milan have just been informed by Mino Raiola that his client Gigio Donnarumma is not going to sign a contract extension. The rossoneri have identified Genoa’s Mattia Perin as the number one replacement for the Italian goalkeeper but according to Sky Sport the rossoneri are also close to agreeing terms with the heir of Donnarumma.
Here on calciomercato.com we’ve already talked about Alessandro Plizzari, who is AC Milan’s Primavera no.1 goalkeeper.

Plizzari, 17, had quite a good campaign in the youth sector of AC Milan and made headlines last week when he saved two penalties during the U20 World Cup third place final, helping Italy to secure an historic third placement.

Sky reports that AC Milan have recently met the player’s agent Tullio Tinti and have almost reach an agreement to extend the player’s stay at the club. The announcement of Plizzari’s contract extension should be released in the next few days as an agreement seems really close. After losing the ‘real’ Donnarumma, AC Milan want his heir to commit his future to the club.
