Yet the Brazilian is recently quoted (via fichajes) as saying: “Who knows about tomorrow. I’m very happy now, but nobody knows [about tomorrow].”
This is hope for Manchester United fans, not to mention those passionate about Paris Saint-Germain, who made a stunning €190 million offer (£160m) to sign the 25-year-old last Autumn, as well as trying to tempt the Brazilian with a €40m weekly paycheck (after tax).
He still had a positive campaign last season, though he wasn’t quite as impressive as he’d already been at the Camp Nou.
The former Santos man is the youngest of the three MSN stars, and a departure would throw the Liga contenders into jeopardy, especially when they have other priorities, namely beefing up their defence, and the recruitment of some more youthful midfielders.
