No treble for Juve as Inter seem very pleased: 'Compliments to Real Madrid'

The UEFA Champions league final is now over as Real Madrid beat Juventus by a 4-1 score line (with goals from Ronaldo(2), Asensio, Casemiro and Mandzukic). It was memorable season for Juventus as they won the league title and the Coppa Italia but there will still be a lot of disappointment since they haven't won the UCL since 1996. This was a chance for them to be the first Italian team since Inter Milan to win the treble (UCL, league title and Coppa Italia) but they came up short.

INTER SEEM QUITE PLEASED WITH THE RESULT - Inter Milan seemed to be all smiles at the end of the UCL game as they complimented Real Madrid on the win: " We want to send out our compliments to Real Madrid on their 12th UCL Champions league title as they are also the first team to win it twice in a row in the modern era of the UCL".

Inter president Zhang Jr added this: " Congratulations president, respect to you and to your great team. This really was a great victory".
