Official: AC Milan midfielder makes Genoa return on loan
The Italian, however, failed to justify his price-tag during his time in Milan and the two clubs have now announced that the player will make return to the Marassi on a dry one-year loan deal.
Calciomercato.com had exclusively reported that Genoa were closing in on the signing of both Bertolacci and Lapadula with the latter who has already had his medical with the grifone and is also going to officially join Genoa in the coming hours.
Before competing his € 20 million AC Milan move in 2015, Bertolacci had played 88 games with Genoa scoring 12 goals.
Genoa will pay an undisclosed fee for the player’s loan deal but the grifone do not have any option to make the player’s loan move permanent, which means Bertolacci will make return to AC Milan at the end of the 2017/18 campaign.
