OFFICIAL: Bonera extend contract with Villareal
The 35-year-old centre-back had had his contract expiring at the end of the month and the new deal he has just signed will end in one year time (June 2017).
Bonera spent nine seasons at AC Milan winning five trophies including one Champions League and one Serie A title. He has 201 appearances with the rossoneri, though he has scored only one goal in his professional career with Parma.
The product of Brescia academy played 16 games with Villareal last term.
