Juventus have announced that Andrea Barzagli and Gianluigi Buffon have both extended their contracts at the club until 30 June, 2018. The announcement was made by the Bianconeri President Andrea Agnelli at a press conference earlier today.

BUFFON: "I am proud of this latest act of faith by Juventus towards me. I am also proud to share this special occasion with my team-mate. A player is able to get the best out of himself when he works with the group. I hope to obtain more success and achievements. Winning the title next season would be a sign of incredible continuity."

BARZAGLI: "I am overjoyed about this 2 year extension. I cannot wait to get going again this weekend and in the TIM Cup final. There is still room for improvement and I try to learn from my team-mates and opponents. The new arrivals have shown themselves to be up to the standard of the experienced players."
