Official: Monaco extend deal with Colombian striker

Monaco has officially announced the renewal of Radamel Falcao. The Colombian striker was due to expire on June 30, 2018 and signed a new agreement extending the current agreement for two years by moving the deadline on June 30, 2020. This comes as great news for fans of the French club, who will want to keep their status above PSG.

Falcao was an integral part of Monaco’s attack this season, as his definitive touch in front of goal combined with the pace and skill of youngster Kylian Mbappe to secure the French league title for their side. The 31 year old Colombian scored 21 goals in 29 games, and added 5 assists. After a busy cycle of summer football in Copa America’s and World Cups, this summer will hopefully offer Falcao the rest he needs to regain full fitness and form heading into next season with Monaco and with impending World Cup qualifiers for Colombia.
