OFFICIAL: Monterrey sign Basanta from Fiorentina to permanent deal

Mexican club Monterrey have signed Jose Maria Basanta from Fiorentina to permanent deal. The 32-year-old Argentinean defender spent last season on loan at the Mexican club before completing his permanent move.

The player's transfer fee has not been disclosed.
