Paper Talk: Inter make shock move for Man Utd, Chelsea target; Milan close in on two major signings

According to reports in Tuttosport this morning, Inter are lining up a shock summer move for Torino striker Andrea Belotti. The Turin based journal claims that the Nerazzurri are looking for striking reinforcements next season and are ready to tempt Il Granata with a cash plus player offer for the 23-year-old.
 
It’s also understood that Inter bosses, who are set to name former Roma boss Luciano Spalletti as their new coach this week, may even be prepared to cash-in on current club captain Mauro Icardi who has a €100M release clause for clubs outside on the peninsula.
 
Inter are reportedly ready to offer Torino €70M plus the signatures of defenders Andrea Ranocchia and Davide Santon in exchange for one of Europe’s top marksmen.

After failing the first part of his medical at Milan, Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessie is back at Milanello this morning to undergo further tests. Calciomercato.com understands that the problem will not scupper his move from Atalanta and that the deal should be formally announced in the next 24 hours.


La Repubblica writes that Milan are also ready to announce the capture of Lazio midfielder Lucas Biglia. The 31-year-old will arrive at the San Siro for a fee expected to be €18M plus bonus with the player signing a three-year deal.


The same journal also reports that former Leeds United patron Massimo Cellino is stepping up his pursuit of Genoa. It had been expected that he would be acquiring Serie B side Brescia but latest reports suggest he has his eyes on a bigger prize.


Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi is close to a new deal in the Italian capital. Gazzetta dello Sport claims that an official announcement could even come before the end of today.


Staying with Roma, FiftyFive.One reports that  Miami FC coach Alessandro Nesta is continuing his quest to bring former striker Francesco Totti to the US. The 40-year-old received an emotional send off from the fans after his last game at the weekend against Genoa but it’s believed that he’s undecided on his future at this stage.
