Paper Talk: Spurs set their sights on Milan winger; Everton to raise their offer for Croatian international

According to reports this morning, Spurs and Roma are set to go head to head for AC Milan winger Suso. Calciomercato.com’s Daniele Longo writes that the 23-year-old will arrive back from his summer vacation to find his future uncertain ahead of the new campaign. The player, whose full name is Jesús Joaquín Fernández Sáez de la Torre, had a consistent campaign last term which saw him called up the full Spanish international squad. The arrival of Milan’s new owners however, has cast doubts on his future at the San Siro and a summer departure has not been ruled out.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is a huge admirer of the player and despite claims by Milan sporting director Massimo Mirabelli that the club intend to sit down and discuss a possible renewal, the interest from the Premier League has forced Suso to have a rethink about where he would like to continue his career. Roma are also reported to be monitoring the situation.
