Paper Talk - Arsenal have one hand on Morata, Toure-Inter almost done, Zaza between Roma and the Premier League

La Gazzetta dello Sport states this morning that Arsenal are closing in on Spanish striker Alvaro Morata. The 23-year-old is currently plying his trade with Juventus but former club Real Madrid are about to activate a buy-back clause that was written into the original deal with the Italians. Arsene Wenger is reported to have already offered Los Blancos around £50 million to bring the player to London despite claims from Turin that he’s better off staying at the Serie A champions.

Morata’s impending move could set off a domino effect as Juventus look for a replacement. PSG frontman Edinson Cavani remains the priority but the French club have said that they will keep him in Paris next season. Sassuolo striker Domenico Berardi looks certain to move to the Old Lady after a “Gentleman’s Agreement” was put in place with his current club giving Juve first refusal on a transfer.
