According to La Repubblica, AC Milan are making contingency plans in case they lose their star goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma this summer. The 18-year-old sensation has had scouts from across Europe flocking to the San Siro to watch him in action and his agent, Mino Raiola, wants to get the best deal possible for his young protégé.

The Rossoneri are understood to be ready to offer the youngster a four-year deal worth €4M-per-season but with a clause that would reduce this amount should they fail to reach the Champions League in 2018-19 when Italy will get have four representatives in the group stages.

Both Manchester United and Chelsea are huge admirers and have made no secret to Raiola of their desire to add the player to their respective squads. Should Donnarumma depart his current employer, then the journal suggests that Porto’s Iker Casillas and Lazio’s Federico Marchetti will be Milan’s primary choice of replacements.
