Paper Talk: Spurs target only has eyes for Juve; Martial becomes the main man; Farewell to Fantantonio

Latest reports from Calciomercato.com state that although he failed his two medicals at Juventus, Czech striker Patrik Schick only has eyes on a move to the Bianconeri. The 21-year-old frontman was all set to make a €30M switch from Sampdoria to the champions when tests brought up a respiratory problem that forced Juve to pull out of the deal.

With Premier League side Spurs monitoring developments closely, Schick was quickly linked with a move to Inter who were prepared to sign the player despite these problems. Doctors have advised the youngster to rest up for around 60 days but have also stated that his career is not in danger. Spurs coach Mauricio Pochettino has had scouting team in regular attendance at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris last season to observe the player in action. It seems however, that the path towards Turin may still be open.
